MADE OUTSIDE INDIA !

Our directors are fascinated with foreign locations - and for a reason. Not that Indian locations leave a lot to be desired but the charm of Europe or the intimidating culture shock that US offers is only laying trap to our movies. And with good results at that! Here are a few movies that had their roots somewhere outside India.

 Viswaroopam :

 Kamal took his team to the other side of Atlantic, US, for Viswaroopam. Set in the US, the movie travels all over including Afghanistan.

 Billa 2007 :

 Shot extensively in Malaysia, Billa joined the league of its predecessor (old Billa) in making Malaysia one of the most desirable destinations for the Indian traveler.

 Podaa Podi :

Although London is where the movie is set in, Podaa Podi's songs were shot in the vibrant and bustling Hong Kong.
