ULTIMATE HERO-VILLAIN

1. AALAVANDHAN : Kamal plays Vijay and Nandhu – brothers who are a complete contrast with each other both by mind and body.
2. ENTHIRAN : Rajini character Vaseegaran designs a humanoid to serve for the country but things go awry and Chitti turns to version 2.0 and terrorizes the city.
3. AMAIDHI PADAI : In a film directed by Manivannan, Sathyaraj’s performance as father & son is touted to be one of his best performances till date. The movie has him play the central character Amaavasai and shows his shrewd rise to the top, only to be brought down by his estranged son Thangavel, again played by Sathyaraj.
 4.VAALI : Ajith plays the charming Shiva as well as the creepy deaf-mute Deva who is secretly obsessing over his brother’s wife. The movie had a bold subjected and was treated well to deliver a gripping thriller.
 5.AZHAGIYA TAMIL MAGAN : Vijay played double role for the first time.  Vijay played an athlete Guru Moorthy gifted with clairvoyance only to foresee that his look-alike Prassad is about to murder him.
 5. MANMADHAN : A film that marks Simbu’s biggest hit had him play two memorable roles ‘Manmadhan’ striking vengeance upon amoral girls in the memory of his deceased brother ‘Mottai’ Madhan.
 6.SINGAM PULI : Jiiva as the do-gooder fisherman Shiva and also as the cunning advocate Ashok play out the scenarios in Singam Puli. Although their appearances were the same, the actor shows differences in his body language.
 7.NETTRI KAN : Rajini features in one of his boldest and provocative roles as an old libertine Chakravarthy only to be taught a lesson by his own son Santosh, also played by Rajini.
8. BILLA : The 1980 version had Rajni play a stylish don Billa and the contrasting pan-chewing commoner Rajappa. In 2007 Ajith reprised the role as the unforgiving David Billa and the victim of circumstances Velu.
 9.JOHNNY : Rajni excels again in a polarized double role. As Johnny, he’s a petty con-man who is trapped by a scheming look-alike Vidya Sagar, a murderer.
