Kuttrame Thandanai: Vijay Sethupathi releases the first look poster of Manikandan's film

Kuttrame Thandanai stars Vidharth, who is best known for his film Mynaa, and Aishwarya in the lead roles. Legendary musician Ilaiyaraaja is composing the music for the film, which also stars Nasser, Rahman, Guru Somasundaram, and Yogi Babu. After Kutrame Thandanai, The director is all set to join hands with Vijay Sethupathi for a comedy drama titled Aandavan Kattalai. 

Manikandan's debut film, Kaaka Muttai, won a National Award under best children film category. The film follows the story of two slum children and their desire to eat a pizza. Kaaka Muttai also turned out to be the first Tamil film to premiere at Toronto Film festival.

After Kuttrame Thandanai, The director is all set to join hands with Vijay Sethupathi for a comedy drama titled Aandavan Kattalai. Ritika Singh, who put out an impressive performance in Madhavan's Irudhi Suttru, will play alongside Vijay Sethupathi in the film.

Manikandan has said that unlike his first two ventures, his third film will be on a lighter subject. But he also added that the film will not be an out-and-out comedy drama, but will have big scope for humour.
